Living a Spirit of Leadership

Within each of us is a spirit that drives us to be leaders: Whether we are consciously aware of it or not, this spirit works to help us realize our fullest potential in life, both in our personal life and in our life at work. This intensive five-day program is designed to help you recognize and empower your ‘inner leader’ in four ways, by:

Finding and recognizing the leadership spirit within you
Setting new goals and creating a spirit of aspiration to reach them
Defining how leaders communicate the spirit of aspiration in order to be effective
Encouraging the aspiring spirit by empowering, communicating, coaching and living the aspirations

At the end of this program you will understand:

How to identify your own strengths and weaknesses and create action plans for self-improvement.
How to evaluate the methods you or others have used in the past for handling change and how to devise more effective methods going forward.
What important characteristics (leadership models) set leaders apart, whether they are employees, managers or coaches, and what marks a good leader.
How leaders inspire, and how to increase your ability to act as an inspired leader.
What followers expect of their leaders.
How to establish yourself as a leader and agent of change in your organization by evaluating future trends affecting your business.
How to communicate your personal aspirations/values about leadership to others.
How to live personal and organizational values that support your spirit of leadership.
How to evaluate and weigh input from multiple sources – including other leaders – and how to use this information to embrace and support change.
How experientially based learning can support the establishment of a culture focused on learning and responding to change.
How to handle challenge, choice, commitment, personal empowerment, support systems and “the spirit within” to increase your ability to act as an inspired leader.
How to create a process that supports the spirit of leadership within all employees so that your workplace will run more efficiently and creatively.
How to help yourself – or your employees – communicate “with heart” the personal aspirations of leadership they have experienced from attending the program.
How to establish a personal leadership action plan to implement your learning from this program in your workplace – in other words, how to go back to work as an inspired leader.
